FSN (Feature Story News) On The Hour

KLR News has taken the decision to outsource our news to FSN (Feature Story news) on the hour.

FSN provides an hourly bulletin of 5 minutes every hour, and KLR has scheduled it to play on the hour in its broadcasts.

On their website, FSN says: “FSN is the world’s fastest-growing broadcast news agency. For more than 25 years, the company has provided Emmy Award-winning original, customized news coverage that is seen and heard by millions of TV viewers, radio listeners and web users worldwide every day. Headquartered in Washington DC, FSN maintains regional broadcast hubs and co-ordinating offices in London, Hong Kong, Kampala and Caracas, and news bureaus serving international broadcasters in more than 30 locations.”

KLR is delighted to be associated with FSN bulletins once again. FSN has been the mainstay of news in previous radio stations that owner Anthony Lovett has provided, both online and in real-life community radio stations he has managed in the past. Anthony said: “Providing a reliable and bona-fide news service on the hour would otherwise be impossible for KLR (this voluntary music radio station) to afford. Certainly trained journalism is not something we can provide ourselves and reliability is crucial to any serious-minded radio station provider. So it is with grateful thanks to FSN for their vision and foresight”.
