Borstal House

Borstal House is recruiting students, tutors, and a doctor to join our roleplay. Borstal House is a reformatory for male juvenile delinquents, age 18 to 23.

Guided by the principles established in the British Borstal system, Borstal House provides incarcerated young men a program of discipline and rehabilitation, segregated from the influence of older and more hardened prisoners.

Borstal House’s objective is to develop character through strict moral, mental, physical, and vocational training. Borstal’s Founders, previously allowed discretion in Ireland to use birching or caning as persuasive measures, and our boys find greater freedom in their new wilderness estate, far from the prying eyes of well-meaning but misguided governmental supervision.
