What is AviCrowd?
Avicrowd is a social networking site designed for SL users by SL users that makes it easy for you to connect and share with the grid. Anyone with a SL account over the age of 18 can join! Today, AviCrowd is the fastest-growing SL social media with an anticipated(from growth calculations) 1,000 account sign-ups in less than 3 months’ time (March).
Why Use AviCrowd?
Have you ever wondered why so many people on SL have outside social media? After all, there are already so many ways to communicate on the grid, like IM, Email, In-World, Nearby chat and so on.
What makes AviCrowd unique is the ability to connect and share with a direct SL only community. Being able to share virtually created content with people you are virtually connected with. As well as, being able to target a like-minded community of avatars using the same platform instantly.
For many, social media is an everyday RL experience. When we log out of SL we have no other immediate connection to the grid and sometimes we don’t want to have to log into the grid for it can be a bit of a hassle to have to stay connected at all times with RL going on. AviCrowd makes it easy; with ways to connect to AviCrowd straight from your phone or on the side of your everyday web browser.
AviCrowd was created by SL users ValorCo and CursedCo on December 10th 2021 and published only a month later after active testing on January 1st 2022.
